We're happy to announce that Alex Rose's work can be viewed in Catalogue of the Exhibition, an exhibition curated by Bob Nickas, at Triple V in Paris from 13 May thru 25 June, 2011.
"The most natural place in which to encounter a photograph is in an album, or reproduced in a book. Despite the fact that photos have become increasingly larger in recent years, the traditional scale of a printed picture is modest, something that can be held in the hand and in the eye. For this show in Paris, near to where photography was invented, the installation will pair two photographs, then have a short space of wall, then two more photos, two more, and so on. This will correspond to the way that you see pictures reproduced side-by-side as left and right hand pages. To be in the show is to be in the catalogue of the show."
